The Michigan State Capitol is a National Historic Landmark that was built in 1879 and was designed by renowned architect Elijah E. Myers. The building is one of the best surviving examples of the Victorian painted decorative arts. Tours of the Capitol are available.
Built in 1858 and once owned by prominent Lansing pioneers James and Marion Turner, this house is a restored and classical brick house.
The mission of Michigan Women's Historical Center and Hall of Fame is to honor and present the lives, achievements and history of Michigan women. This center includes the Belen Gallery, which displays the work of Michigan women artists and photographers.
